  • Clear Your Web-browser Cache (Wednesday, February 17, 2010)
    Have you cleared your web-browser cache lately?  If not, it is important to do it on a regular basis - especially if you are having problems accessing Blackboard. 

    Internet Explorer
    1. Click on Tools > Internet Options > General tab > Browsing History heading > Delete.
    2. Under Temporary Internet Files, click Delete Files
    3. On the next window, click Yes and it will start the deletion. 

    Changing the Setting for your cache
    You should also change your setting for your cache to "Every time I visit the webpage". 
    1. Click on Tools > Internet Options > General tab > Browsing History heading > Settings
    2. Click on the radio button for "Every time I visit the webpage" and click Ok

    Firefox
    1. Click on Tools > Clear Recent History.  
    2. You only need to clear the Cache and Cookies.  If anything else is checked, uncheck them and click Clear Now.
